Wayne, wouldn't each of the above rated loads be at WOT?
because it may or may not require WOT for full rated load. how much throttle needed is also dependent on altitude, temperature, humidity in addition to load.
I suspect the db ratings are derived at STP conditions. (standard temperature and pressure, usually 70F, sea level pressure)
and second, rated load is below the max load on each that they sometimes will sustain for a short period of time. E.G honda 2000 is 2000VA max, 1600VA rated.
