New INFO: Initially, the microwave was inoperable, no lights, didn't work at all when plugged into any outlet, but I just plugged it in again and it now works again. I suppose it's possible that the microwave shut down prior to frying? not sure what explains why the microwave appeared to be done, but is working again…..by the way, this is the microwave from another RV, not the one that was shutting the gen down.
Just to recap, the microwave that was shutting the gen down was put in another RV and the gen ran fine, the micro from the other RV was put in the RV that had the gen shutting down and appeared to fry, but now works again on shore power. haven't tried to run it off the gen again, i'm afraid to run anything off of the gen at this point…
