The taste of poor quality lingers long after the joy of a cheap price has faded.
Not only apples to generators, applies to RV's as well. - SidecarFlipExplorer III

From the quoted review: I just bought two of these SUA2300i units...The units started right up and were quite.
Oh good.. they're quite.
Don't you and he mean 'quiet', not quite? How about quite quiet?:p - MEXICOWANDERERExplorerWell how much are three of them versus one Honda 2200? 52db x 3? Three generator fuel consumption?
Sorta like considering running duals on the front to compensate for poor quality tires? - 2oldmanExplorer II

The spec says that. Whether it actually "is" that is another matter.
Specs on gen says that "2300" has 1800 really. The Honda 2200 has 1800 really.. - BFL13Explorer IIThe review did not say anything about its quality as such. Just that it will not run his air conditioner.

You don't get everything by paralleling two either.
My Briggs and Stratton 2200 is 1700 really. If you put two in parallel you can get 3000, not 3400 (two 1700s for the math challenged :) )
The manual says with two you get:
P2200 + P2200 = 3000w
P2200 + P3000 = 3000w
P3000 + P3000 = 4800w
I expect it is similar when paralleling other brand gens of whatever size. - 2oldmanExplorer II

if you want cheap go with the harbor freight 3500 electric start inverter genny. if you want a bit more quality, go with the 3400 champion with remote electric start (that would be my first choice).
Those would be my choices as well.

If you want a top of the line, wallet draining Inverter, Get a Honda for twice the price and bragging rights... 'I have a Honda and I'm broke now'.....lol
I agree, I have a Champ. 4 years now, no problems and I use mine around the farm, not just in the RV. It gets a lot of hours on it and is stone reliable.
