As an alternate suggestion, I'd consider solar
I liked the idea of solar when I owned a bigger rig without limits on space/weight, but mostly as a way to keep a the battery plant topped off to run the inverter. I never did it due to cost.
Now my (future) RV will be constrained for both space and weight and adding PV panels and battery and an inverter seems like a non-starter.
