Generator to run my RV's AC - what do I need?
I feel like this question must have been asked a million times, but I'm a newbie and can't seem to find the answer. I have a new Wildwood X-Lite 26' trailer, and I was hoping to run the AC off a Honda...

Excessive noise is excessive noise regardless of how frequently, or infrequently, you may use either one of these gensets, neither of which is suitable for use in any organized campground where other campers have an equal right to peace and quiet. If your plan is to use it elsewhere then perhaps the noise would be acceptable ... but count on it, it will be noisy. If you're not willing to ante up for a premium Honda or Yamaha inverter genset that will minimize this noise issue you've already been given a reasonable alternative in the Champion 3100 watt inverter genset. For use just a few times a season it may be just the ticket ... just keep in mind the old adage that one usually gets what they pay for. ;)
