If you have more than a single G24 battery you will have to shut off the converter. I moved my converter to it's own circuit breaker for easy on/off, thou a 15A rated switch would work too. The fridge will draw around 300w of AC power.
I have the SUPCO SPP6E on my 13.5K BTU A/C and had one on my old 9K BTU A/C, IMHO they are a must have.
I have the pair of 2K Honda's and they don't like power the A/C, Micro, Converter, and Fridge at the same time but I pulled the micro so I have unlimited power when paralleled.
I have some friends with a 2400 and 13.5K BTU A/C, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, but it normally does. I am not sure what all he shuts off, but he only has 1 small battery IIRC.
