I just got back from talking to my mechanic, he is going to put the new starter on next week. I explained to him how something is engaging the starter while the genset is running. He feels he can install a different starter switch and disconnect the other starter switches in such a way that nothing would be able to engage the starter but his newly installed button. Does this sound like it will work?
