On any extended warranty you really need to read the fine print and know exactly what is covered under what conditions, what can make it so the company can refuse to cover it and how much if any is the deductible. You should also research the company to see if they have any negative reviews or complaints to the BBB.
I don't buy them as I rarely find them worth it. Having one on my truck cost me more to get things fixed than just paying to get them fixed in the first place.
