Do i think fuel treatment helps keep ethanol from gumming up carbs? Yes
Reason is because ive been dealing with gummed up carbs my entire life. Has only gotten worse here in cali. I maintain a good 10-15 small engines. When i forget to add stabilizer it usually means im pulling the carb to clean it. When i do add stabilizer the bike fires right up.
Only reason we dont add stabilizer is when we say "no worries we will ride and burn the gas up in a couple weeks." Problem is we forget and dont ride for a couple months. Sure enough the motor runs like junk because the small pilot jet holes are clogged up.
