Ok found the problem it was a wire nut at the breaker! Some how the main power wire wiggled its way loose and was arcing which I'm guessing was the problem why the gfi would not reset properly. So i reset all my wires and put the wire nut on correctly and everything works fine now. Thank you everyone for your input it help out a lot.
