The wire nut was there because the outlet outside of the trailer was tied into it so all the GFCI were on the same breaker. Okie way of doing it I guess but ill figure out a more bullet proof way of fixing it.
From what I've seen, AC distribution in most TT's is woefully inadequate. I'm sure this is at the behest of the bean counters that finalize design.
