Trip lite makes some pure sine wave inverters
They are big heavy and have transformers,. Just like the MSW versions
The also have surge ratings in SECONDS not micro SECONDS
IIRC my pv 1250 will carry 2500 watts for 10 seconds
1875 watts for 60 minutes
