Hi, Edit: Some one has suggested I'm trying to bash a particular make. Far from it--I'm trying to get valid information to help me make a decision. It will cost over $1000.00 for what I hope to own...

Here is the reply from Samlex:
"Referring to the SA-3000K-112 as this is currently our only 3000 Watt pure sine inverter.
· User service parts are not available for this inverter.
· Surge for the SK series:
200% for under 2 seconds
115% to less than 200% for 6 seconds
100% to less than 115% for up to 3 minutes
None of our inverters are stackable"
