So a person tests a product to see if it lives up to hot air and hyperbole. And it fails miserably. 410 cycles, not two thousand. What's a person going to do about it? Nothing, of course. Unless OEM puts their money where their mouth is, with a stipulated warranty, cycle life claims are not worth the electrons they consist of.
2000 cycles? While "window-shopping" for ebike, I was rather disappointed with what I've learned.
Manufacturers and bike shops suggest 500-600 cycles for those small 10-15AH 36V-48V Lithiums.
Also, they suggest after initial few days of break-in down to 50% SOC, not to go below 60-70% SOC for the rest of battery life, and to avoid charging at temps over 80F in order to get those 600 cycles.
Also, they suggest charging it full 100% EVERY DAY(some suggest not to go over 95-97%), in order to get max life. Doable in a car, yes. In RV - not sure.
What's more, users (and some honest shops) warn not to buy spare battery for later use, because they seem to die anyway in 4-5 years in maintenance/storage mode.
