Lasts 5x as long. $999 / 5 = $200
Twice the usable capacity. $200 / 2 = $100 So not a huge premium for full time lots of use.

Then if you are big on solar you can size your panels smaller as most charging is bulk. No long lead-acid absorption.

And again nobody wants L-16 or 8D because of weight. These weigh only 35% of lead-acid.

May well be worth it to some users that can front the money and get full benefits.
