Golf Cart Batteries A-hrs

I've been researching batteries for my new trailer. Thinking about going to 2 or 4, 6 volts batteries. I've seen numbers for Trojan batteries and for Crown batteries, but never have seen or been able to find numbers for the Costco batteries or Sams batteries that seem to be fairly common and easy to get.

Does anyone know the specs for Amp-hours on the Costco and Sams 6 volt golf cart batteries?

I assume like other things at wharehouses, it is one choice, or is there a specific brand of Costco or Sams battery to look for?

Thanks!
  • Thank you!

I thought I recall reading a post that some Sams will sell a "higher quality" golf cart battery from time to time, but can't remember how to identify or find the post I read.....
  • 208 amp hours is the 20 hr rate of GC220's made by LTH battery in Monterrey Mexico. A chat with a friend (executive) at a USA battery manufacturer this week had them remarking the Mexican made batteries are flooding the 208 amp hour GC market in the USA. Interstate buys from four or five manufacturers. Really jolly when buying batteries and end up with 3 out of four being different sources from one another.
  • Costco is the low model 208
    Sam's carries the 208 and a 232, priced accordingly.

T125 is a bit higher than the T105 for same case.
T145 is a bit taller with even more capacity.
  • Cdash,

Costco are now selling Interstate. I don't know what Sam's is doing. My Sam's are now 6 years old and doing just fine. All the GCs I have seen have a publish 20 hr at or close to 220. As well as the Interstates that I have had were, I would be hard pressed to go the $*2 for Trojan T105.

    Hope this helps.

    Matt
