12v Golf Cart Battery?

Any old cheap GP24 RV/Marine battery will do what you want.

Get the 12v golf car battery.

Just be mindful when you add batteries to your setup you may have to increase the DC current specs on your built-in converter/charger unit. Also it works much better if the converter/charger unit is a smart mod type...

I personally would rather have 12V batteries for my battery bank but cost is the issue to me. The GOLF CART world allows the 6V batteries to be sold at a very reasonable price as compared to what a 12VDC Deep cycle Battery will cost you...

Like you are seeing, the one 12V battery will give 155AHs capacity. It will take two Golf cart GC2 batteries in series to give you around 12VDC at 220AHs for a total cost of appx $150 for the two 6V batteries... It will be very hard to find a 12V 155AH near that cost... How much is the 12V 155AH Battery costing you now...

I would use what you need for the GC , like the T-1275 at approx $200 plus.
For the TT, i would use a less expensive hybrid wet cell battery from Walmart for under $60. It will do the job that you need it to do.
If it becomes necessary for whatever reason, an additional grp 24 battery will fit in most TT battery trays.

Sounds like I'll be ok with grabbing a cheaper battery for the rv.

For the TT you might consider the Duracell 24DCC at Sam's Club. If you don't have a membership you can get a one day pass but must pay cash. Some states allow them to add 10 percent to the price. But they only sell for $79 with trade.

I would be curious what the brand and part number of your GOLF CART 155AH Battery...

We have a local golf cart dealer here that I could order through them perhaps. The $165 is less than I can get the Trojan T-1275 from BATTERIESPLUS.. They have it listed for just over #200.00. Shipping would be free as I can go there locally and pick it up...

They are not Trojans, they are US Batteries 12v xc2 and the 165 is with the core.

I've run lights for a few hours, water pump for cooking and cleaning dishes, and furnace for 8 hours at 30F without dropping the voltage on the cheap 12V marine battery that the dealer included too much.

You must be using the VRX XC2 in the golf cart. For the trailer US has the DC XC2. Maybe you can get a better price buying both from US Battery. Wish we had a US Battery distributor near me.
