STEVEB Those are the same ebay/china boards I am using. These do not have any regulator chips on the board... These do not emit RFI low level switching signals...
If you see more electronic components installed on the boards other than LED units then those are probably parts of a regular circuit.
I like the way these boards are working so far but without regulation components on the board they may be prone to being blown out if you use DC volatges outside their DC VOLTAGE operating range. The specs on my boards is 12VDC - 14VDC. If I used 15VDC that some converter use doing their EQUALIZE mode it may burn out some LEDs on the board. Mine do OK with my 14.4VDC BOOST and EQUALIZE charge modes...
I figure at $4.99 a board it is not a big issue if I have to replace a few boards in a couple of years of use.
