Good source for Bilstein shocks ??

That is, a good retail source that will KNOW what my C needs given the make, year and model.

And what is a ballpark price I should expect ?

I did a search and couldn't find price mentioned anywhere. That worries me a bit.
  • Got mine at autoanything.com and had a 20% off discount and free shipping 2 yrs ago. Got the 4600 series for my ram 3500 megacab and pull 13.5 k 5ver.
  • Summit Racing had the best price for me this past Fall. Maybe also try Shock Warehouse. They had the best price a few years ago.

They both had a chart for the shocks to fit, but mine was for a F150.

    good luck
  • I have have great luck with E Shocks, they usually have the best price with free shipping.

I have used them for many many years for my Bilsteins, both for off Road cars and all of my own vehicles, large and small.

Their staff is very knowledgeable and can answer all your questions, what ever it may be.

They will know what will work in any application.
  • Thanks for the recommendations.

But STILL no mention of price.

    That worries me......a lot.

Edit: A quick visit to Eshocks shows the price to be about $90 apiece....which is about what I expected.
  • I had a bad experience with shock warehouse so I won't order from them again.
  • My DW, being the accountant she is, makes me shop 'til I drop on the internet for anything. :( I bought 4600 series Bilsteins about 5 years ago for our F250 and the lowest price I could find at the time was on ebay. I asked the seller if they could better the listing price and they said to just go to their online store. Someone has to pay for ebay's fees in the end... Sometimes you can tell if a seller on ebay has an online store by their username. Try using the correct part number for the application in a google search.

Make sure you will get the factory warranty when buying from some sources. I believe you need to keep the original boxes to return them in if ever sending them to the factory under the warranty terms & conditions. Chances are pretty slim you'd ever need to do that tho.
  • Just bought a set of Bilsteins for my Journey thru Amazon Prime, good prices, free shipping and returns are simple
