Welcome to the manual absorption voltage club. Go hand in your 'head in the sand' membership card to the head ostrich. He will be the guy plastered in blinking green lights muttering "works just fine" over and over.

A shame powermax did not decide to allow 16v maximum though.

My Meanwell rsp-500-15 does 19.23v unloaded. I pushed the screwy31 upto 16.5v once, because I forgotten what a charging flooded battery smelled like.
