You're going to butcher the jumper cables. 10-gauge cheapies are perfect. The clamps on one end get cut off.
When that battery of yours gets fully charged it would be impossible for the Megawatt to put more than 10 amps into it. No worries. Connected together totalax possible charge per battery 18 amps - still no worries.
Use a Phsmart charger? It could over-amp the batteries at first then quit work at noon then go play hooky. Just l o v e those "I know what's best for you" programmed nightmares.
