It depends on the user. My health problems affect my brain and, hand to god, I am far more likely to kill a battery with a megawatt and a timer than with a smart charger. Other people on this thread, that is not the case.
But it's also about how u want to spend your life. Dinking with batteries, or doing something else and buying new batteries one year sooner. No wrong answers, there.
