That bit about the outer case being live scared me off yesterday. Figured I'd better get a night's sleep. Then the cat kept me up.

I might go for it anyway today, but what a terrible design choice! I'm gonna write it on the frickin' case with a sharpie, a note to myself to check outlet before plugging in. Sheesh.

(I suppose this sounds snowflakey to you, in the wilds of Mexico, but yeah, I am used to having consumer protections and I have the tax bills to support it!)
