Got my new (used) batteries!! Now, how do I rejuvenate them?

I was not measuring at the mw terminals. I was measuring at the clamps, and on the lead battery terminals.

The cables are about 2 feet long and I think 8-10ga. (Unlabelled, but I compared them to labelled wires).

So if the clamps read 14.7 when in the air, they will climb to but not above 14.7 when on the battery? I wish I had understood that before.

I am glad I may not have killed it.
