Today this same battery has been sitting at 14.74v, and 3-4 amps, for 4 hours. It is not warm. I check it every half hour, and it's always 14.74, but amps are sometimes closer to 4, sometimes closer to 3. Not going down -- the last reading was over 4.
I assume this is all ok, but was not quite what I expected so I am posting in case anyone has anything to say on the subject ;)
(It seemed that 14.74 was as close to 14.7 as I could get. Even after I brought a more comfortable chair out to the batteries :B )
I guess the battery is a bit like a person sitting at the table after thanksgiving dinner and continuing to nibble for hours while chatting. Can always find room for one more little bite.
