GPS Why not a smart phone?
I am curious as to why a stand alone GPS still seems to be so popular. What with smart phones and tablets being readily available I would think that the stand alone units would sort of fade away. I me...

I see an altimeter mounted behind your screen... I'll tell you why a submarine has an altimeter mounted prominently inside that is used every time we surface, if you share why you use an altimeter in your vehicle. :B
Truck came with the USAF Altimeter and air speed indicator (from a Cessna or something) in a crude wooden center console. I scrapped it and made an aluminum one and painted it. Needed something to hold the air bag controls and gauge, so I added the other two and a pitot tube in the grill (can tell when Im drafting, or headwind). Also added a 4 port high power usb charger on the side.
