Gray tank drains slowly

I am the second owner of a 2005 Fleetwood Southwind. I suspect there is some sludge or grease buildup that causes the gray tank to drain slowly. Can anyone recommend something to break it up?

  • This happened to me. I installed an internal sprinkler in the tank, as I did for the black tank, and flushed with warm water. Much better than using some harsh chemical IMHO. Good luck. Glad you caugyht this prior to a clog.
  • How about one of those attachments (name escapes me, CRS victim) that allows one to back flush the tanks thinking that there might be a buildup in the piping. I'd back flush for 10 seconds at first to see what comes out and increase time if necessary.
