Why not check the most simple things first? Cephoto said the kitchen sink won't drain. Try a plunger or take off the "P" trap below the kitchen sink and see what happens. Is the "P" trap plugged? Just because you don't see debris go down the sink doesn't mean it never does. Over time, it's quite common for "P" traps to plug up with normal use. Given enough time, algae, grease, hair, cooking oil, dust, sugar, hard water, soap, salt, body oil, and water can all get together and settle out to form a "lovely" patina in the "P" trap.
