I did the passenger/right side wheels today when i had some time this afternoon.
Here's what I found...
-Neither had any leaking of grease past the seal.
-The rear (larger) bearing was pretty packed with the brand new red grease.
-The front bearing didnt get packed well with the new grease. It was a mix of the new red grease and original gray/black grease. I think its possible if I had applied another 1/2 a tube of grease and kept cleaning out the excess, It could have gotten packed in to the front bearing more.
- There was SO much grease inside! Jesus! It was a mess
I removed both bearings and they look beautiful. The races look beautiful. I cleaned them well with shop rags, then proceeded to use brake cleaner with straw to spray them clean. Packing the grease in with the palm of my hand (gloves on) worked. It's kind of fun to push and watch the new grease push through and appear on the other side. I may though invest in a packer of some kind of they exist for cheap.
I dont know how people could remove the seals and re-use them. I had a tough time getting mine out with a punch under it and hammering the other end to try to 'pry' it out. I am fine with spending $6 for 2 seals and re-using them.

They are pretty now, packed nicely and good to go.
Later this week I'll do the left side when I got 2 hours free to drive over, do it, drive home.
