A teaspoon of sodium hyperchlorite per 20 gallons of 15% booze/fuel keeps the algae at bay. The alcohol absorbs it utterly. This is performed only very occasionally. Two eyedropper drops per quart of gasohol then thorough agitation followed by running the motor to spread the good news will work. But this stuff is sensitive. Too much causes problems. Too often causes problems.
