Gremlin In My Wires - Help Needed!

Yup! That's the plan for tomorrow. I tore apart the circuit breaker box and opened up all the wiring behind the switches today looking for the problem without success. I suspect that you guys are right and the problem is sitting in the battery compartment and related somehow to those resettable circuit breakers attached to that wall.
