the galley gray tank just doesn't get enough volume of water flushed through it to keep the bacteria making a stink washed out. We had the same problem the first 6 months of our new trailer until I started using grey tank deodorant periodically. Clorox is VERY effective at killing grey tank odor, but is also VERY effective at making the slide valves sticky. If you don't like changing out the slide valves, use a deodorant specifically for the grey tank. Some of the new eco-friendly black tank deodorants are labeled for use in grey tanks, also.
