Greywolf 2018 Electric Water Heater wiring

Does anyone by chance know if there is a way to find a correct wiring diagram for the water heater? I have had issues with my electric side burning through thermostats and I am thinking that the wiring needs to be changed. I have searched everywhere and can not find a wiring diagram and just looking at the water heater itself, well it isn't looking promising either. Please help

  • Google is your friend, presuming you didn’t do that first. I saw several wiring diagrams for Atwood and whatever brands instantly.
It’s not a high tech piece of equipment so most are going to be similar or the same.

  • I haven’t seen the exact diagram for that model, but sometimes the thermostat burnout is caused by incorrect element wiring or a bad high-limit switch. If you can’t find a manual online, you might try checking inside the access panel and tracing where the supply lines go to the thermostats/elements  that often helps piece it together.

  • Not sure what you mean by "electric side burning through thermostats". Either you turned it on empty like Bid Time suggested, which can come from thinking you are de-winterized and you aren't, or there is a loose, open, or corroded connection or ground issues. You won't find a wiring diagram for just about every RV in existence. And as Bid time stated, provide the make and model of your water heater and be more descriptive of your issue thinking about the root cause. And not sure what it means when you say "wiring needs to be changed". I can see replacing damaged wired but changing wire?

  • Are you aware that if you turn on the electric element with no water in the water heater you will burn out the element?

secondly, if you post the brand name and model number someone will be more likely to help you with the electrical diagram.
