I found it much easier to get the SG up higher earlier in the day, on Hot days on my screwy 31.
I also found it required on those hottest days, lowering the voltage in the afternoon after less time at Vabs, Unless I wanted to gurgle them purposelessly.
I think even if the Charge controller has a battery temp sensor, hot weather Vabs durations should also be lowered as well as Float voltages, especially if Float is set to near Vabs as a 'finishing' charge.
