After I gnawed on Lifeline a bit they have raised their float limit to 13.4 to 13.5.
Keep in mind those folks are shooting for 15 year service life and TWENTY minimum to 25-years of UPS duty.
Unless these ultra-precise optimums are temperature corrected, you might as well be whistling in a drafty outhouse full of knotholes. They are well-aware of their ambiguity.
Always aim for float voltage that causes the absolute minimum of input current once the specific gravity maxxes out. Use an inline multimeter and hydrometer. once you establish temperature baselines, voltage correlation is a snap.
