After I gnawed on Lifeline a bit they have raised their float limit to 13.4 to 13.5.
Whaaaaaaaaaaaat???
A couple of weeks ago they told me over the phone 13.4!! I guess I should have gnawed a bit, too, so then maybe I could have chewed my way up to my Parallax's nominal 13.6 volts.
As it is, they lost a sale to me of a couple of their 125 AH Group 31 74 lb. masterpieces ... since they couldn't match Fullriver's fearless publishing of 13.6 - 13.8 volts float at 77 degress F for their 115 AH Group 31 72 lb. hopefully-a-masterpiece.
Even good old Interstate ("C&D Technologies") years ago weren't afraid to publish 13.5 - 13.8 volts float for their 100AH Group 29 AGMs we managed to get 8 1/2 years out of in our Class C.
Of course 8 1/2 years is a long way from 20 years. Has anyone lived long enough to have gotten 20 years out of a Lifeline AGM in an RV?
