Don't know about floats but assssssssssumptions that a single fixed-point float voltage works in all seasons is absurd. Look at the temp/float span then compare to four-tenths of a volt. Then look at a Lifeline surviving underhood temps at automotive charging system voltages.

Lifeline seeks incredible lifespan under UPS conditions. Nothing wrong but incomplete recharging is like ten-thousand times more relevant on an AGM. ANY AGM.
