I didn't want temp comp for camping even though we can see from below freezing to 70 or 80f daily. The battery takes longer to adjust and never sees the extreme of either. I needed it for storage where the temperatures can be in the minus 20's f, or the 100+ f range for extended periods of time. I bought the MS because there were not many options at 60a. A week after I ordered I found EP has a 60a MPPT now but the VOC is limited to the 50v range. It could have been a option had I known about it.
