I find more problems with wiring issues within the plugs at the shore station than I do with voltage. AND if your shore station has voltage problems chances are the whole CG does. And its time to re-think staying at that CG.
For me this works fast and easy and I know that the shore station is working BEFORE I park and drag out any of my power cords, inline protectors etc.
