Do not know if it is true, but watching a Veterinary Reality show set in Alaska yesterday and the Vet said that fleas are present on Squirrels only in Alaska - not on humans, dogs, cats, etc.
The fleas do not survive if they transfer to a dog or human...
Different reality show about Mountain Men, again in Alaska, showed a terrible mosquito problem!
