Harbor Freight portable air tank pressure gauge

Does the gauge on a HF portable air tank read the pressure of the item being filled when the control is set to let air out of the tank? I just acquired one of these and the gauge works fine when I'm ...

I don't think you'll have much luck finding a "hose/gauge" combo that will be accurate enough for your bags. Pick up a digital gauge instead. That's what I use and it seals well enough that there's very little change when checking.
