I agree with Gdetrailer. I have a small house with a 100 amp service & a 15K stand by generator wirth an automatic whole house transfer switch. Since it runs on natural gas, it produces less than 15K. 50 amp 2 pole breaker on the generator that has never tripped, even running an electric range along with the rest of the house. Longest run was 5 days during an ice storm...
