It is still a low cost option and one does not have to learn about MC4 connectors for instance. Plug and Play with a couple of lights to play with. Some of our members seem more interested in the highly specialized aspects of Solar rather than the fun factor. A couple hundred dollars is a cheap price for learning about Solar. Almost any "Starter kit" will be stored in the garage or upgraded in short order. I wish the OP had not mentioned the brand as that triggers some automatic responses. I like the way people leave out the cost of cables and connectors and the total lack of an owner's manual for the self-designed setups.
