I have a HF about 14 miles away. Can't get there anytime soon though.

Funny thing is after viewing it on the HF page, HF sent me a bunch of email coupons. (I am part of their email list) anyway that batt was in those coupons for ~$59!

That is a very reasonable price for an AGM 35 AH. Even the shipping is fair at $6.95. But no paypal ???? What is HF thinking.

I zoomed in on the battery (CTRL + in both Firefox and MSIE) and it clearly says it is an "Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) on the battery itself.

That is a size not uncommon in those jump start packs (That size would be used in the 1,000 to 2,000 peak amp types if the battery can do it) Not much use in an RV except possibly as a break-a-way battery for those who ALWAYS camp on shore power.. Since shore power is not an always thing (Even if you are plugged in) I have had several occasions where shore power simply vanished all of a sudden... Like when Digger O'Gray sliced the primary (Yes the multi-thousand volt primary) cable feeding the park with his backhoe. (I'll be that was impressive) I like more battery.. and a full gas tank.

This is a VERY common battery type.

There are few if any SLAs that are not AGMs

good detective work. anyone near a HF store to check it out in person? could be the picture is one thing, but what you're buying is something else?

I'm thinking something CARRY-ABLE to power a CPAP or BiPAP then get recharged by a tiny charger in between times.

Looks like a lawn tractor battery. I agree, there's nothing that says AGM, probably just a gel-cell, and a small one at that.

All AGM are SLA, but all SLA are not AGM.
