Mine always started with one or two pulls. Even last spring, after it had sat for about a month, it started up after 4 or 5 pulls. But this fall it sat for about 6 weeks, and now it's a bugger to keep it running after starting it. It starts fine, but actually runs at too high an idle with the choke full on, and in non-eco mode. This is how I know it's gonna stall out. But after several attempts, it finally chugs along for a while and then I can turn the choke off, and it continues to run. I think it may be an ethanol issue, as well. I've been running stabilizer in it, but that hasn't helped, even after 4 or 5 uses.
Clean the carb. Ethanol may have been a factor in fouling it up.
