Run some sta-bil thru it before shut down and long layups. Don't forget Sta-bil does have a shelf life. 2 years last time I checked. sometimes they run rough on startup. The carb is gummed up when you get this. If you don't want to do the carb cleanout run some Sea Foam thru it and many times it will smooth out. When it is more convenient clean the carb or it will act up everytime you let it set a few days before running.

3 fresh spark plug properly gapped.
