Propane is Propane. Butane is Butane. Different gases. The ONLY place now that Butane is readily available is Mexico. There used to be Butane available in south Texas in the warmer months of the year, but not now. I believe almost all USA retailers have dropped Butane. Maybe Canada has Butane, but doubful as Butane does not vaporize well at lower temps which Canada has. Butane does have MORE energy than Propane, but the result in a RV is negliable. The main disadvantage of Butane is it does not vaporize as well in colder climates. HOW would you determine if Canadian LP is BETTER than USA LP???????????????????? Furnaces heat, thats all. Are you taking heat exhaust temps or something else????? What is your training to make such a statement? Doug
