PD now sells the 14.8 volt versions of all their PD9200 series chargers for those whom do not think 14.4v is sufficient.
I plug my shore cord into either an inverter, generator or shore panel to feed my AC and DC converter load panels, and when using shore power or generator to also feed the charger. For simplicity I'm probably gonna replace my WFCO8955 with the PD4655. I'm baulking because of the 14.4v limit of the PD4655. It seems all battery manufacturers recommend 14.8 to as much as 16v for charging. I asked Progressive if they might move that up to 14.8v like they have for their PD9200 series. They said no, that 14.4v is "preferred" in an "RV situation." Boondocker has one that adjusts up to 15.5v. If I were to charge batteries at 15plus volts would I want to isolate batteries from circuits?
