Batteries reading 12.0 are at 50% charge,
If the freedom 10 is working
And you have true 110v input
There should be 13+ volts at the battery posts
What is the exact battery voltage to a tenth of a volt
Meter should read 12.x or 13.x and that should not be 12.0
When the voltage is low
The control systems will shut down things will not work even if 110v power is available
