Do not try to check out inverter if you are not sure what you are doing. if you are in the wrong place, you will have 110 volt. Just as was posted above, put a charger on the house batteries, are they 6 volts or 12volt batteries? and wait for the RV Tech. Watch him as he checks out your system. Better to be safe, if you are not sure what you are doing. Maybe he can give you a few tips and a little education on your systems so you will have a better understanding of how your AC and DC electrical system works. I wish you the best of luck, but be very careful if you are not sure with electricity.
